Surgeons usually consider adults with midface and jowl descent that a mini or skin-only SMAS sitting will not hold, who are close to a stable weight, and who will accept scars in the hairline and around the ear. Hotel nights are hotel nights after discharge, not a second ward stay. The coordinator stays the same person who wrote back to your first message.

What sits outside the quote

Flights to and from Istanbul are extra unless a contract says otherwise. Extra nights you add yourself, a companion’s room, travel insurance, a rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, a dedicated neck lift, fat grafting, an awake conversion, and a later revision sit outside this figure unless they are written on the paper. Stretching the skin to chase a photograph of another face is refused; that is a clinical limit, not an upsell.

Theatre, anaesthetic and nights in Istanbul

Plan seven to ten nights in the city. That window covers the in-person assessment, the sitting, the hospital nights, swelling checks, suture or staple removal and clearance to fly. Four hotel nights is too short for a deep-plane stay. The hospital stay sits inside those nights; it does not replace them. Leave room for an extra night if the team asks.

Theatre is under general anaesthetic. A deep-plane sitting is usually several hours — longer than a mini, and not the same clock as an awake-plus-neck day. The expected time sits on the written plan. Discharge is signed by the surgeon — it is not an advertising date.

Recovery after you fly home

Bruising shows for the first weeks. Social recovery — when you can see people without it being obvious at a glance — is often ten to fourteen days if the surgeon is happy, sometimes longer after a deep-plane field. Light desk work often sits in that window. Sleep with the head raised at first if you were shown that. Avoid bending, heavy bags and anything that raises blood pressure in the face. Harder exercise waits about four to six weeks, or longer if the discharge note says so. The face keeps settling for months. None of that is a years-younger guarantee.

Red flags after you return — spreading redness, pus, a temperature that persists, sudden swelling, pain that is getting worse, or wound edges that part — mean a local clinician or A&E first, then your coordinator. Take the discharge note with you.
